Red Sox Mulling New 'Forth To Fourth' Promo

Sign May Signal New "Forth To Fourth" Promo
In an effort to spur flagging interest in the Carmine Hose, upper management may be considering a new promotion to keep fans focused during the next two months. As Boston battles Toronto to emerge from the AL East cellar, unconfirmed reports indicate the start of a new "Forth To Fourth" promotion. As it becomes increasingly obvious to the non-Pink fan base that this team is not making the post-season, it's important that management identify goals that keep the fake sellout streak alive—at least until mid-September. Unsubstantiated reports out of Yawkey Way give a rough outline of the new promotion. Every time the Red Sox are ahead in a game, and the scoreboard indicates the Blue Jays are behind in theirs, fans will be allowed to buy four beers at a time (instead of the normal two beer limit). When this opportunity is available, the Budweiser sign in right field will flash four times—signalling the start of the Forth To Fourth promo. Welcome to America's Most Besotted Ballpark!
